Update four

The presentation has been coming smoothly. I have been adding information as I find it, and it has been pretty regular. My application for the auto trades program is almost finished and it will be finished before spring break. I have spent time researching wages for mechanics and technicians, both while apprenticing and when you have finished schooling.

 I have began starting my own powerpoint. I have been researching post-secondary options, such as trade school, as well as work straight out of school, including how much they pay, how much effort each one takes to get, etc. My application for the youth train in trades program is almost in, and I am pretty confident I will get in. I will continue to reach out to people in the industry so I can continue with the capstone and provide information,

Update two

 I have started my capstone presentation. I am basing it off of a suggestion template provided by Mr. Probert, but I am modifying it heavily to suit my own needs. I have not done a lot of research yet but I have filled out some parts that I know already. I think progress is good as of now. I am on track to complete the presentation before the presentation date. I think that research will take time but that I won't have a hard time finding most of the information I need.

First update

 Over the weekend I have worked on my youth train in trades application. I filled out most of the pages and have two references. I think that the application is an important part of my capstone because it is something that could majorly help my career as a mechanic. It is not done entirely but it will be very shortly.
